Missing : God – Your Nearest and Dearest Ian Fraser
As Isaiah was given a vision of God for what he and his people faced, so Ezekiel received a vision of God on the move when the God’s people had moved out into exile. Isaiah, in our text, is giving a picture of God that matched the sorrows and anguish of his day, and compels us to look to the Lord this year: “Give us a vision of You that matches the Year we are facing.” Perhaps what we’re missing is a vision of God that makes us more than conquerors, through Him who loves us. The worst thing for us would be for God to be missing from our lives this year. We need Him more than ever.
