We are living in unprecedented times. We want you as a church family to know that we are doing all that we can to look after our church family, serve our community, and shine Christ’s light to people during this time. We are committed to following the guidelines that our President, Cyril Ramaphosa has set in place for South Africa. We value the health and well-being of all our country’s people. We are therefore embracing social distancing and abiding by the restrictive guidelines in place when it comes to gatherings. We know this this pandemic is going to be with us for a while, and so our response may change over time as lockdown levels are changed. Here is some handy information for you to be aware of during this time. 



We are currently not meeting for services or events on site. We are meeting weekly for Church Online @ 9:30AM. Please join us for this service at On this platform you can interact with our chat room and also receive prayer ministry. Many of our other church-related events are meeting online during this time.

We host a weekly prayer meeting on a Monday afternoon at 5:30PM on the ZOOM platform. You can get further details about this on our Facebook page. “King of Kings South Africa”

Our various small groups are meeting online. Some meet on Zoom and others connect over WhatsApp groups. Email to get involved



Although we are socially isolating, we can still show love and care for those around us. Prayerfully consider who you can connect with over this time. Whether it’s a phone call, a text message, and a video chat, let’s keep connecting with people. We also want to encourage you to look out for people who are struggling during this time and may need some assistance. Let’s be Christ to each other.



The South African government have made this grant available as a temporary provision of assistance for persons in such dire material need that they are unable to meet their most basic needs, or their families’ most basic needs. The amount granted upon successful application is R350. Social Relief of Distress is paid to South African citizens or permanent residents, who have insufficient means and meet one or more of the following criteria:

– Above the age of 18;

– Unemployed;

– Not receiving any income;

– Not receiving any social grant;

– Not receiving any unemployment insurance benefit and does not qualify to receive unemployment insurance benefits;

– Not receiving a stipend from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme; and

– Not resident in a government funded or subsidised institution.

Prospective Applicants will need to provide the following compulsory information for processing of their applications:

– Identity Number;

– Name and Surname as captured in the ID (and initials);

– Gender and Disability;

– Banking details – Bank Name and Account Number;

– Contact details – Cell phone number;

– Proof of Residential Address;

An application for social relief of distress or a social grant may be lodged electronically over and above any other available means of lodging such applications. The measures applicable include sending a WhatsApp message to 0600 123 456 and selecting SASSA or an E-mail to
